The palace is a fascinating place where you can see the changing of the guards and learn about the history of Monaco. A great place to visit. Full review by Dream66100947215

We saw this place as we were visiting old town Monaco. Its a nice place. We didn’t enter due to time. Monaco is a nice place to visit. We took the train back from Menton to Monte-Carlo. I would add… Full review by Lou576

I didn't prebook. I went in Sept and there was no line at all. I only paid something like 5 or 10 euros. It wouldn't have been worth much more than that. They gave you little headphones …

They gave you little headphones and you walked around in a few rooms and saw photos of how Grace Kelly first met Prince Rainier. Maybe there is another tour that costs much more.

Entry is currently 8 euro per adult. Depending on when you’re travelling there is free entry on 29 September 2019 as part of the 24th European Heritage Day.

I agree with the previous answer, a taxi or the hop on / hop off bus is essential - as it is a very steep climb up to the palace which is on the top of a hill. Well worth the effort as the …

I agree with the previous answer, a taxi or the hop on / hop off bus is essential - as it is a very steep climb up to the palace which is on the top of a hill. Well worth the effort as the views from the top are stunning - lots of restaurants up there and the cathedral where Princess Grace is buried and the aquarium.
