Saw The Hu two nights ago at the Knitting Factory with my autistic son. They were fabulous about accommodating my son by letting him view the venue early when it was empty, ensuring he had a seat if … Full review by Christie O

Overcrowded, awful standing room, sound was horrible. Could barely understand a word the performers said in between songs. Full review by Roger W

Not sure what you mean by an "Access Code", as I have never heard that term used at the club. If you are trying to get into the venue before the General Public enters, just make a reservation at their adjoining bar/restaurant and during your stay, let them know you are going to a show. They will come around about 1/2 hour before the gates open and give you a group number. The groups are let in before the General Public, which allows you to find a seat or table. Word of warning, once you get a table, make sure you never leave it empty or someone will try and take it. The crowd can be very drunk and very pushy at some venues. I stopped going for just that reason. When I attend a show, I like to enjoy myself, not spend the evening being pushed and shoved because of rude drunk people. Good Luck.
Can you bring a small backpack? And is there a dress code?

Is there still a restaurant/bar next door where you can get into the knit before doors open if you're a patron?

They have a full menu on their website. But basically burgers, garden burger, pulled pork sandwich, fried chicken, bacon dog, salmon and another fish fish. A few apps as well but I don't remembe what they had when we were there. It was to bad a place for food. Not the healthiest.
