Disney currently has six ships in operation. By 2031, it will have 13. Three of the ships now are based at Florida's Port Canaveral.

Due to an unexpected change in the dry dock schedule for the Disney Fantasy, Disney Cruise Line canceled multiple fall 2025 sailings on the ship.
