Ukraine has seen the first anti-government protests since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion over three years ago, as a move by President Volodymyr Zelensky to curb anti-corruption agencies sparked fury across the nation.

Ukrainians are protesting after the passage of a controversial bill increasing oversight of two anti-corruption agencies. The move has the potential to impact the country's bid to join the E.U.

Thousands of Ukrainians rallied in Kyiv and other cities on Tuesday, urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to veto legislation which critics say undermines the country’s anti-corruption infrastructure.
