F1's fashion silly season moved into top gear on Tuesday with Alpine switching to Castore while Mercedes brought Adidas back into the sport.

Mercedes have signed a sponsorship deal with Adidas which will see the German apparel company supply the team's kit for the 2025 season.

German apparel and footwear brand Adidas will enter Formula One as kit suppliers to the Mercedes Formula One team in a multi-year partnership announced on Tuesday for the new post-Lewis Hamilton era.

Adidas said it will create a complete range of apparel, footwear and accessories for the entire team as well as fans.

As part of this multi-year partnership, Adidas will create custom team kits, fan apparel, footwear, accessories, and limited-edition drops for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.

Mercedes has confirmed Adidas as an official team partner with the fashion brand signing a multi-year deal to provide kit for the entire squad. The announcement has been expected for some time since leaked images of Adidas-branded Mercedes clothing were spotted last year.
