Madeline Gaudreau, the widow of NHL player Johnny Gaudreau’s brother Matthew Gaudreau, gave birth to her first child just months after her husband and his brother were killed by an alleged drunk driver.

The widow of hockey player Matthew Gaudreau, who was killed alongside his brother when they were struck by an alleged drunk driver, has given birth to their son.

Matthew and his brother, Blue Jackets forward Johnny Gaudreau, died after they were hit by an alleged drunk driver in N.J. Both Madeline and Johnny’s widow, Meredith, were pregnant at the time.
