David Beckham receives knighthood from King Charles III, earning the title "Sir Beckham" while his wife Victoria becomes "Lady Beckham."

King Charles made a surprise appearance at SXSW London on Thursday in a big show of support for the festival's inaugural edition in the city.

A right royal visit occured at SXSW London today. King Charles III spent the morning at the Shoreditch festival, meeting the likes of musician and John Lennon’s son Julian Lennon, Yellowstone star Mo Brings Plenty, director Jean Paul Martinez and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk.

It's taken longer than a World Cup penalty shootout, but David Beckham has finally scored a knighthood thanks to King Charles III.
