JAKARTA (Reuters) -Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province erupted on Tuesday, spewing a towering ash cloud 11 kilometres (6.8 miles) high, the country's volcanology agency said.

Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki’s eruption prompted evacuations and flight cancellations to and from Bali and other destinations.

Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki erupted on June 17, sending a 10,000-meter ash plume into the sky and prompting authorities to raise the alert to the highest level. With 50 eruptions recorded in just two hours,
