The Marvel Cinematic Universe has added a secret movie to its release schedule, and in doing so, the MCU is breaking a 4-year franchise trend.

Disney announced on Wednesday that Marvel Studios is scheduled to release an untitled movie on Dec. 15, 2028. It would be the fourth feature from the division set for that calendar year, with previously announced films scheduled for release in February,

Eager to know more about the Marvel movies that could come out in 2028? Currently, the MCU Phase 6 has begun with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, set to release on July 25. It will ultimately come to an end with Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027.
