Chuck Todd, who joined NBC News in 2007 as political director and moderated 'Meet the Press' from 2009 to 2024, is departing the network.

Chuck Todd, who served as moderator of the Sunday morning NBC News franchise “Meet the Press” from 2014 to 2023, announced to colleagues Friday morning that he is leaving the network. Since handing the “Meet the Press” moderator baton to Kristen Welker, Todd has served as NBC’s chief political analyst.

The former 'Meet the Press' moderator had been a staple of NBC's political reporting since joining the network in 2007.
