Late in Sunday’s practice, however, the injury bug jumped back up, this time biting fullback Alec Ingold. The Dolphins were practicing short-yardage work when pinned against their own goal line when Ingold stayed down on the ground after a play. Trainers were called onto the field before Ingold got up and left the field on his own.

MIAMI GARDENS — The energy was strong at the Miami Dolphins ‘ Sunday training camp practice until fullback Alec Ingold went down. Ingold was seen hitting the trenches as a lead blocker on a run and suddenly was down on the field motionless.

Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold is currently in concussion protocol, according to the team. The 29-year-old suffered a head injury towards the end of Sunday's practice.
