Nikolaj Ehlers remained unsigned 30 hours into NHL free agency, as the top player available weighed his options Wednesday and suitors awaited a decision that could be one of the final big moves of the offseason.

NHL general managers continued to round out rosters as free agency ticked through its second day. One decent-sized catch and a solid defenceman remain up for grabs.
