Texas has fluctuated from blizzard conditions to beach weather over the last two weeks, and the pendulum of extremes is set to swing again for parts of the state thanks to an encroaching cold front primed to pass through this weekend.

A strong cold front headed for Texas will bring freezing temperatures to the Texas Panhandle and a 20-30 degree drop to South Central and North Texas cities.
