MURFREESBORO ― It's championship Saturday for Tennessee high school girls basketball. From the time the season began last November, schools across the state have been working toward this moment and four teams will walk away with a gold ball when the TSSAA girls basketball state tournament championships wrap up at MTSU's Murphy Center.

Westview has built a family-based program, including stretching down to Texas, and has won a third TSSAA girls basketball state championship in four years.

Bartlett made history as a three-time TSSAA girls basketball state tournament finalist, but fell again to Bradley Central in the championship.
