Birmingham's Snow Hill line has reported 'major problems' due to heavy rain flooding the tracks between Snow Hill Station, Birmingham, and Stratford-Upon-Haven. The incident was first reported early this morning, with West Midlands Railway alerting of route changes, delays and possible cancellations.

A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for the south coast. The Met Office has warned of heavy rainfall from 9am today, January 5, until 9am tomorrow January 6. The warning covers East and West Sussex,

"Prolonged heavy rainfall" means there will be some flooding in the south of England on Sunday and Monday, the Environment Agency (EA) has said. The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning for the region,
