The movie that eventually became Deadpool & Wolverine went through a ton of ideas in the development process. Before Hugh Jackman decided to reprise his role as Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds and the folks at Marvel Studios explored every angle under the sun to try and make Deadpool work in the MCU.

After more than 100 days in theaters, the film is now available for streaming, offering its action-packed adventure to a broader audience. Its release on Disney+ comes after a successful theatrical run,

The film’s performance, combined with Pixar’s record-setting Inside Out 2, has eased investor concerns that Disney was losing its magic touch at the box office. Bob Iger, Disney chief executive, hailed it as “one of the best quarters in the history of our film studio”.
