Thomas Tuchel has had a big impact on the England national team and developed good connections with a large pool of players in a short space of time, FA chief Mark Bullingham told the BBC.

England manager Thomas Tuchel is considering up to 55 players as he prepares to name his first squad next week, with FA chief executive Mark Bullingham impressed with how the German has started by “hitting the ground running” ahead of his first games in charge.

Thomas Tuchel has already made his feelings clear on Marcus Rashford playing for England ahead of naming his first squad since his appointment. Tuchel replaced Gareth Southgate as England coach and names his first squad next Thursday ahead of World Cup qualifiers this month.
