Iowa is 2-1 on the season following a Week 2 heartbreaking loss to rival Iowa State (20-19) and a bounce-back win over Troy (38-21) last weekend. The Hawkeyes finished last season with a 35-0 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl loss to Tennessee to end the year 10-3.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are back at it and on the road for the first time in 2024 as they head north to Minneapolis for their Big Ten opener against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Hawkeyes come into the day 2-1 after bouncing back in their non-conference finale against Troy.

The 2024 college football season has not gone according to plan for the Iowa Hawkeyes so far. With the loss to Iowa State and the struggles they had against Troy, there are major concerns about Iowa football.
