Place could be losing one of its anchor tenants as Macy's looks to sell its location in the mall, which just went into receivership.

The Boston Globe reported Thursday that the Macy's department store at Providence Place is for sale. The newspaper reported that a six-person team at Atlantic Capital Partners is handling the listing. A Macy's spokeswoman told the Globe that the Providence Place store will "remain open."
