Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum says she will propose reforms to the country’s constitution to protect Mexico’s sovereignty after U.S.

Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Thursday she will propose a constitutional reform aimed at further protecting Mexico's national sovereignty, after the U.S. designated various Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

President Claudia Sheinbaum said the U.S. labeling of drug cartels as foreign terrorist groups “cannot be an opportunity for the United States to invade our sovereignty.”
