Tonight represents a full-circle moment in television history as Amy Poehler returns to host Saturday Night Live on the very evening the show celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Former castmate and improv pro Amy Poehler is set to host the show, Saturday, Oct. 11. Singer Role Model will join the former "Weekend Update" host as this week's musical guest. This will mark Poehler's third time hosting "SNL" since her departure from the cast in Season 34.
