Elon Musk has been tapped to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) after years of hyping up cryptocurrency Dogecoin.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, stirred up the internet after debuting a new logo for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an initiative he will co-head with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy under the direction of President-elect Donald Trump.

DOGE's account has already been verified on Musk-owned X as an official government entity, and it might be against the platform's verification guidelines.
