FIIs continue selling: The foreign institutional investors are on a selling spree in the Indian equity markets. They have sold Rs 18,810.74 crore in March, 2025. This is the sixth consecutive month of selling. They sold the highest in October, just a month after Nifty and Sensex touched their all-time highs.

Indian stock market benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty 50, had a mixed closing on March 11. The Sensex closed 13 points, or 0.02 per cent, lower at 74,102.32, while the Nifty 50 index settled with a gain of 38 points,

Eleven out of the 12 sectors on the NSE declined, with the Nifty Realty and Oil & Gas falling the most. The Nifty Auto snapped a three-session winning streak, falling nearly 1.22% following BofA's cut in target price for major auto players.
