Oasis's fellow indie rockers Cast have made a major announcement just a day ahead of taking to the stage again in support of the reunited Manchester band at Heaton Park. Cast were handpicked by Liam and Noel Gallagher to kick off their Oasis Live 25 gigs across the UK this summer.

Transport for Greater Manchester said travelling by tram was the "best option" to get to Heaton Park. A shuttle bus is also being put on from the Northern Quarter of the city centre. Police officers will be stationed in the area around Heaton Park, as well as in the city centre to help with traffic management, GMP said.

This weekend marks the hometown return of one of Britpop's most iconic bands, Oasis, as they finally return home for the first of five massive shows. As part of their extensive world tour, Oasis Live '25 is heading to Manchester this Friday and Saturday night.
