INDIANAPOLIS — Reaction from Indianapolis city officials and response from community members continues after two teens were killed and five other people were hurt in a shooting downtown early Saturday morning. Police say on Friday and Saturday nights in Indianapolis, unsupervised kids go downtown.

At least seven people were shot, including two people who died, early Saturday morning in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to police.

"What I've seen downtown over the last few weeks is absolutely ridiculous. Lawlessness, disrespect, and reckless behavior of people of all ages. It's nothing we should expect," IMPD Chief Chris Bailey said.
