JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Foyesade Oluokun has been the heart and soul of the Jaguars' defense for years now, which makes him the perfect candidate the answer one key question.

It starts with Liam Coen. Most football followers are familiar with his achievements as an offensive play-caller and quarterback developer, but when the then-39-year-old was hired in January, the question for everyone outside the Jaguars’ building was whether he had the goods as a culture-setting, people-motivating head coach.

"The Jaguars can block teams from interviewing Udinski for a play-calling OC role," Jones wrote, "so the only way for a team to ensure they can get him in their building for a chat is to interview him for the vacant head coaching position.

The Jaguars' latest injury report seems to be the best the Jaguars have gotten all season long, with there being good news on several fronts.

Cook is the first undrafted rookie quarterback to start for the Jets since 1975, when J.J. Jones spelled Joe Namath for one start. This has been that kind of year for the Jets (3-10), who missed the playoffs for the 15th straight year and suffered their sixth consecutive season with double-digit losses.

Two AFC foes face off in Jacksonville this Sunday, as Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars host the New York Jets. The Jaguars bounced into first place in the AFC South with their 36-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, while the Jets were eliminated from playoff contention following a 34-10 loss to Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.

NFL.com's panel of editors doesn't expect much resistance from the Jets, with all five members picking the Jaguars by an average margin of 14.2 points. Gennaro Filice predicted that Jacksonville will take it in a 30-13 blowout victory:
