The head of the service's San Antonio-based training command said a video about the pioneering Black aviators would remain in the basic training curriculum.

The Tuskegee Airmen, who were the nation’s first Black military pilots, and the WASPs — women who learned to fly so they could bring new bombers to military troops — were both integral parts of the outcome of WWII.
