St. Ann, Missouri, police said they thwarted a possible school shooting. The teen was charged with first-degree terrorist threat, resisting arrest and unlawful use of weapons.

Parents of a child who attend JFK Middle School say they are upset that the school district did not notify them until a day after a unload gun was found at the school.

The charging documents allege the parents put the ammo into a backpack and gave it to someone else in an effort to hide it from police.
