INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Mike Braun is set to delivered his first State of the State address Wednesday evening. Braun will spoke before a joint session of the Indiana General Assembly in the House chamber. He took office in January after former Gov. Eric Holcomb reached his term limit.

"I understand this tax relief will have an impact on local governments, but taxpayers are struggling, and we have to put their needs first," Gov. Mike Braun said.
The former U.S. senator, who was inaugurated Jan. 15, is expected to address the full Indiana General Assembly at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Gov. Braun is expected to outline his legislative priorities for 2025, including a proposal to overhaul the state’s property tax system.
