NEW YORK (AP) — Dallas rookie Cooper Flagg is back from a two-game absence for his first pro game at Madison Square Garden, while Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart returned Monday for a Knicks team that has struggled without them.
Christie stole the show in Cooper Flagg’s Madison Square Garden debut with his sharpshooting performance in Dallas’ win.
The Mavericks beat the Knicks — who Mike Brown declared, at long last, fully healthy — without stars Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving, centers Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II, plus role players D’Angelo Russell, PJ Washington, and Dante Exum.
The Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks meet Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in New York, New York, with tip-off set for 5 p.m. ET.
