A Memphis man has been arrested in Chicago in connection to the September death of an Arkansas Department of Transportation contract worker, the Arkansas State Police announced Monday.

The former Razorbacks ace has been pitching well in Spring Training, working towards a main roster spot in the future.

The Hogs will face Duke in a primetime game Thanksgiving night, Nov. 27, at the United Center in Chicago. The CBS Sports Thanksgiving Classic will be broadcast nationally on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ at 7 p.m..

The Arkansas State Legislature recognized Natural State basketball legend Scottie Pippen for his achievements and contributions both on the court and in his community on Thursday.

NBA Hall of Famer and Arkansas native Scottie Pippen was honored by the Arkansas legislature for his basketball career which started in Hamburg and UCA.

Calvion Dayshun Thomas, 24, was pulled over during a traffic stop by Chicago police and arrested on Feb. 17, Arkansas State Police said in a Feb. 24 news release. He’s charged with murder, battery, theft by receiving and fleeing.
