MLB teams have become increasingly weary of paying relievers, but that’s mostly reserved for guys without a proven track record.

One of the most sought-after relievers this offseason was Jeff Hoffman, and before signing the Blue Jays, multiple teams passed up on him.

Speaking with the Toronto media on Wednesday, Hoffman said he's not concerned about the shoulder which led to him failing physicals with both the Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles.

Right-hander Carlos Estevez remains a free agent after a strong 2024 season. Philadelphia already lost Jeff Hoffman to the Toronto Blue Jays, but David Schoenfield of ESPN believes that a reunion with the All-Star closer could still be on the table.
