A teenager has been arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat to a Meriden high school via social media last week. The Meriden Police Department said they were called to investigate a threat at Platt High School on Nov.

A 16-year-old was arrested on Thursday for allegedly making a bomb threat to a high school in Meriden, according to police. Police said that a bomb threat was made to Platt High School via social media.

Meriden police said that anyone behind school threats will face separate discipline from the school that they attend in addition to criminal charges.
