CM Punk dropped a pipe bomb on the Bears. The WWE superstar and Chicago native ripped his hometown team’s ownership during the Netflix pregame broadcast of the Chiefs’ 29-10 win over the Steelers on Christmas Day.

Phillip Brooks, better known by his WWE ring name, CM Punk, is not happy with the state of his hometown NFL team. Punk, who was born in Chicago, aired some of his grievances with the Bears during a guest appearance on Netflix's NFL coverage Christmas Day.

WWE and its new partner made use of Netflix’s big holiday football premiere to hype Raw’s upcoming one on the streamer.

Former WWE Champion CM Punk foresees WWE's upcoming Netflix debut as a massive turning point, especially when it comes to company's reach.

On the December 16, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE announced Punk vs. Rollins will take place on January 6, 2025, when RAW debuts on Netflix. Paul “Triple H” Levesque made the announcement on X, formerly Twitter, saying it is a “match years in the making.”

Even though the Chicago Bears are slated to play the Seattle Seahawks today, one day after Christmas Day, the team still managed to get brought up during the holiday festivities. And no we're not talking about your uncle grilling you at the dinner table about another lost season for the Bears.
