Peyton Manning, who spent the majority of his legendary career with the Indianapolis Colts, paid tribute to longtime team owner Jim Irsay, who passed away on Wednesday. Several people in NFL media fondly remembered Irsay after news of his passing broke.
Manning and the Colts parted ways during the 2012 offseason after the quarterback underwent two neck surgeries. Manning then landed with the Denver Broncos and won a second Super Bowl before retiring. After retirement, Irsay added Manning to the Colts' Ring of Honor, and his gestures did not stop there.
