What a night that was for Scotland at Hampden Park. The late 1-0 win over Croatia has given the nation a huge lift. John McGinn's heroics off the bench saw the Dark Blues secure their first win of Group A1 in the UEFA Nations League - and just their second victory in 14 months.

They made a last minute deal with ITV to show the Nations League matches against Poland and Portugal but the last two outings have been aired on YouTube channels run by Viaplay and the Scottish Football Association.

But after avoiding a fifth defeat in a row with a battling draw against Portugal that left Cristiano Ronaldo in a strop, spirits have been lifted once again. Belief has been sparked the streak could finally be ended against Croatia at Hampden tonight.

Scotland must take points off Croatia in their clash at Hampden Park if they have any chance of avoiding relegation from League A in the Nations League. Steve Clarke’s men suffered three straight defeats in this campaign but a goalless draw with Portugal gave them hope of pulling off a surprising survival.

Andy Robertson should make his 80th appearance for Scotland in this international window were he to play both games, moving him into joint third on the list of record cap holders, behind legendary Aberdeen keeper Jim Leighton, who earned 91 caps, and centurion Sir Kenny Dalglish who earned 102.
