"If he would have sliced my dog’s head off like that, that would have broke my heart. That would have broke me for the rest of my life," victim Rakeem Young said

A Bronx man hospitalized since Friday has had some of his fingers reattached after police say they were sliced off by a machete-wielding man. The victim's family is desperate for the suspect in the attack to be found and brought to justice.

The dude just swung the knife at me for no apparent reason,” victim Rakeem Tayquon Young said from his hospital bed Sunday.

One of the victim's family members says the attack happened after a dog dispute in the West Farms section of the borough on Friday. CBS News New York's Dave Carlin reports.
