Bugatti states the production Bolide's lesser power output is the result of its decision to feed the 16-cylinder engine lower-octane fuel rather than the 110-octane racing gas of the Bolide Concept.

US-based hypercar enthusiast Manny Khoshbin is among the privileged few to own a Bolide, with his delivery scheduled for February 2025.

Khoshbin's collection sprung from a desire to own unique, one-of-one examples of the world's greatest hypercars.

Bugatti will continue testing the Bolide on race tracks around the world in the coming months, and it plans to begin delivering the car in 2024.

The Bolide packs a power-to-weight ratio of 0.67 hp per pound, and it will lap the Le Mans racetrack faster than any car in history.

The Bolide also uses Bugatti's familiar quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16, but here the engine is tuned to deliver 1,578 hp on 98-octane fuel.
