Throughout Coldplay’s nearly 30-year career as a rock band, frontman Chris Martin has heard it all, from devoted fans who fill stadiums to see them perform, to the haters and trolls who can’t handle how utterly positive their message of peace,

The Ahmedabad District Child Protection Unit has issued a notice to Coldplay and its lead singer Chris Martin barring the entry of children below five years at the British rock band’s concerts to be held on January 25 and 26 in the city.

Coldplay will perform in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26 at Narendra Modi Stadium as part of their Music of the Spheres tour.

Days before Coldplay's much-anticipated concert in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a notice was issued to the band's lead singer, Chris Martin, and the event organizers. The directive emphasized avoiding the inclusion of children in any capacity on stage.

Coldplay isn’t retiring anytime soon, at least according to one bandmate. Chris Martin broke hearts everywhere in September when he announced the band is planning to retire after releasing 12 albums. Having just released their 10th, Moon Music, it gives fans at least a couple more years until that happens.

The notice clearly states that failure to comply with these guidelines will result in stringent action from the District Child Protection Unit.

The Unit has highlighted that sound levels exceeding 120 decibels during the concert could pose significant risks to children's health
