The Trump administration is ramping up plans to detain undocumented immigrants at military sites across the United States, a significant expansion of efforts by the White House to use wartime resources to make good on the president’s promised mass deportations.

Across the state, there are five military installations. While not yet known, any can be pinged to help deportation efforts, including detention.

Fort Bliss could hold up to 10,000 migrants, though the plans for the deportation hub are still in early stages, the New York Times reported.
