A body found in Spain is believed to be that of missing Irish man John George. The family of the missing father of two from Belfast received a call from the Cuerpo de la Guardia Civil this evening saying they had located a body.

A body has been found in Spain, believed to be missing Belfast man John George, PA news agency reports. The 37-year-old father-of-two, also known as John Hardy, disappeared while holidaying in Alicante. He was last in touch with his loved ones on 14 December, and was reported missing four days later after he failed to board his flight home.
