On Dec. 18, officers were dispatched to an assault that occurred at NE 41st St. and University Way NE just before 3 a.m. The officers found the victim, later identified as Yim, a King County Metro bus driver, lying in an empty parking lot, according to the probable cause document. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
