In an offseason of change, the Miami Dolphins have made a sizable commitment in a franchise player. Miami made Zach Sieler the team’s highest-paid defensive player, giving him a three-year extension worth up to $67.75 million.

The Dolphins and Sieler agreed on a three-year contract extension worth up to $67.75 million and with $44 million in guarantees Sunday evening, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus. Sieler last was at the negotiating table with the Dolphins ahead of the 2023 season, and it got him his previous deal, at $10.25 million in average annual value.

Sieler had two years left on his deal that was one of the best bargains across the league. Now, the 29-year-old becomes the Dolphins' highest-paid defensive player, per Schefter.
