At least 28 civilians lost their lives in a brutal terror attack at Baisaran in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday. The attack occurred in the Baisaran valley in Pahalgam, where a group of tourists had ventured earlier on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said the directive followed a high-level video conference chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, instructing state governments to enforce the move.
