The Notre Dame football program has seen three players leave via the transfer portal on Wednesday, days after the CFP loss.

Three major college football programs are reportedly in the mix for Notre Dame transfer Rocco Spindler. The 6-foot-5, 325-pound offensive lineman appeared in 40 games with 23 starts over the last four seasons. He started the 2023 season before missing the final three games due to injury and returned to his starting role in 2024.

Notre Dame has lost two more players as exits to the transfer portal, this time with the losses coming in the wide receiver room. Graduates Jayden Thomas and Deion Colzie both announced on Wednesday that they are entering the transfer portal and will continue their college football careers elsewhere.

Thomas has had a good career with the Notre Dame football team, and he is now ready for a new chapter of his playing career. The Fighting Irish have played a lot of ACC teams over the year, so Thomas is pretty familiar with Virginia and a lot of the opposition that he will go up against.
