Ubisoft announced a “strategic update” today, and the changes include a delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the upcoming entry in the franchise that takes place in feudal Japan, from February 14th to March 20th.

The stock dropped after the videogame maker said it expected a decrease in third-quarter net bookings and pushed back the release of its blockbuster game for a second time.

Ubisoft said the additional month of development of Assassin's Creed Shadows will allow the team to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months. It said this would help to create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the "increasingly positive" Assassin's Creed community.
