Fever star Caitlin Clark will not participate in the WNBA 3-point contest or All-Star Game, saying she needs to rest after suffering a groin injury earlier this week.

The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will feature a few unique rules as the league looks to spice things up a bit for the festivities in Indianapolis on Saturday night. The four rule changes coming to this year's event are 4-point shot circles, a 20-second shot clock, no free throws in the first 38 minutes and live-play substitutions.

Every year, an elite group of pro-ballers are chosen by fans, staff, and their fellow players to ditch their team jerseys and compete in the WNBA All-Star Game. While last year's All-Star Team took on (and defeated) Team USA, this year's group was split into two teams led by the league's most popular players, based on fan votes.

Starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, the WNBA All-Star Weekend airs on ESPN starting on Friday (July 18). The WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge is available to livestream with Sling TV.
