North Dakota State’s women’s basketball team earned a big win over South Dakota yesterday in Vermillion, taking down the Coyotes 72-53. The Bison were led by Abbie Draper, who dropped 29 points and hit 12-of-16 shots from the field. The senior forward also snatched a team high 12 rebounds.
The Hawks allowed a season-high 109 points to the Jackrabbits, who jumped to an 11-8 record with the win. Guard Joe Sayler reached 25 points for SDSU, while four other players reached two figures in scoring. Both Owen Larson and Jaden Jackson had six rebounds for South Dakota State.
