Auburn Tigers star forward Johni Broome was once again named SEC Player of the Week on Monday. He previously earned weekly honors this season on Nov. 11, Dec. 2 and Dec. 16. It’s the fifth time receiving this honor overall.

Playing in his first game since suffering an ankle injury against South Carolina, Johni Broome led the Tigers with 16 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and two steals off the bench against Tennessee.

Johni Broome is back, and Auburn is still on top of the SEC. The Tigers picked up their 11th straight win on Saturday night when they beat Tennessee 53-51. It marked Broome’s first game back from an ankle injury. He had a team-high 16 points and 13 rebounds off the bench in the win, which marked the lowest point total the Tigers have had all year.
