Echoes of Wisdom map reveals the Hyrule expanse in Nintendo’s latest franchise entry before its late September release.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is just weeks out from release, but we already know a little bit about it thanks to hands-on impressions and some official gameplay reveals. The map of the Hyrule in this particular entry has also surfaced online in recent times, and now we've got another look courtesy of Game File's Stephen Totilo.

For many fans, a Zelda game where you actually play as Zelda is enough reason to be excited for the latest instalment, but The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom truly shines by showing what we can expect from the series in a post-Tears of the Kingdom world.

Echoes of Wisdom is the first game in the Zelda series that lets you play as the game's namesake, and it feels well-suited to younger and older players alike.

At around the 21-second mark in the clip below, Zelda is seen riding a brown horse over a low fence. The camera cuts to a close-up of the princess, before cutting away at the second fence to show what looks like the famous ranch, which made its debut in Ocarina of Time.

Echoes of Wisdom launches on Nintendo Switch. It’s the first mainline entry in the franchise to let you play as Princess Zelda. And once again, Nintendo is being secretive about who developed it, though fans have seemingly figured it out.

Echoes of Wisdom appears to have leaked in full a couple of days before its proper Nintendo Switch release date. Reports from YouTubers a few weeks ago claimed that a rom containing Zelda's first solo adventure was already making the rounds,
